THE NFL IS OFFICIALLY BACK

NFL fans it is time to rejoice!
Week one of the NFL’s 105th Season brought in all the energy, promise, and POINTS for my Fantasy Football team: The Justice League.
Kick off began on Thursday, September 5th 2024. And the hype on my end focused on defending champions my Kansas City Chiefs versus the Baltimore Ravens.
Now listen, I’ve been a Chiefs fan since the beginning of Patrick Mahomes Professional Career. Sure, I may be from Texas, home of America’s team the Dallas Cowboys. However, I’m just a woman with an open mind for the game and teams.
Plus, I have this weird thing going on lately to root for professional athletes who are close to my age. Mahomes and I are both 29, and seeing people in my group doing incredible things for themselves and their families always spoke to me on a deeper spiritual level.
Patrick Mahomes is one of my two TOP Quarterbacks right now in the league.
And to further push some more buttons with my open minded opinions, the Chiefs also have TRAVIS KELCE.
Did I mention I am also a major Swiftie???
I absolutely LIVE for her camera cameos, and the pure outrage from some of the boys who love football. Like come on boys, let our man Kelce remain enchanted meeting Taylor and dating her.
Okay, I will stop teasing, we are supposed to talk about Football after all right??
Well long story short, my Chiefs won game one of their iconic return to the league. Which gave my Justice League a strong start in the first week of the Fantasy Football season. Kelce, Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice tore up the house with their athletic Performances and brought in all the majority points projected in their first game back.
Thanks guys, first game started off strong. Yet of course, I am seeing in the Fantasy League, while you will have many iconic highs with the scoring system and the highlights of which player is bringing on the points, there are also some lows.
My Cincinnati Bengals lost their first game back. With the score of 17 - 14, Tampa Bay Buccaneers came out on top over my man Joe Burrow.
In case you have yet to put two and two together, Joe Burrow is currently my number one Quart back of the league.
Can you blame a girl?
However, whether your players from Fantasy, or your team in general in the league won or lost the first week back, do not fret.
What I love about seasonal leagues is, there is always time to grow and progress.
We still have 16 games left to continue seeing more results in our professional athletes.
So keep those score boards tallied Fantasy Fans, and don’t lose hope.
I sure as hell can not wait to see what this season has prepared for my Justice League.
