Before I begin, I do have an update to yesterday’s journal entry, The Surprise Gift. As if by some by some act of fate, mere moments after I published that entry she decided to read the gift in question. Since I know she doesn’t read my Notd account (she just today subscribed to my Substack), I have to assume she was actually thinking about it and did it of her own volition. Another sign of hope? Maybe.
