I am choosing a different path, a path that leads to life, healing, and salvation. But as I move forward, I look around and see people I love—friends, family, people I care about deeply—still stuck in the same place. And it breaks me. I don’t want to see you lost. I don’t want to see you hurting. I don’t want to see you slipping further away from the life God has for you.

Like many of you, I’ve walked the road of addiction, relapse, and redemption. I’ve been through programs, sat in NA and AA meetings, and learned the 12 Steps. But through it all, I realized something—the guidance I needed was in one place all along: the Bible.

From Brokenness to Breakthrough: Finding My Way to God” I want to Open up with Scripture: Psalm 34:18 “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” My brothers and sisters, I stand before you today as someone who has walked through the valleys of darkness, someone who has searched for love, for peace, for worth, in all the wrong places. I have fought battles that no one saw. I have carried burdens that seemed too heavy to bear. And I know that many of you have been there too—wrestling with addiction, facing separation from your loved ones, feeling abandoned, feeling unworthy of love, even feeling unworthy of God’s grace.
