Enid did what with who? This is one of my favorites because its edgy for the time, especially if you were graduating out of the BSC books and moving on to more "mature" themes. It's still watered down in a "Jessi is hooked on caffeine pills and is so excited" sort of way but not so cringe that you set it aside and say "Not today PSA". I honestly wonder if this is a product of the "Just Say No" era that they shoved down our throats or a response to a sort of book version of the "After School Special". Either way not all is sweet in Sweet Valley...

Ever wondered why McDonald's ketchup has that *special* something? This blog post dives deep (maybe too deep) into the mystery of why it sometimes tastes like it's been sitting in the sun a little too long. Is it the packets? The high fructose corn syrup? Hell was having a party. It made sense, from their perspective. The Son had been taken care of. The tomb was sealed. The celebration was in full swing – until a sound shook the floor that had no business being shaken, and a messenger arrived with the worst four words in the history of the infernal realm: The tomb is empty. Kingdom Divided is a demon’s-eye-view of history – a dark, darkly funny, and theologically unflinching look at the long war between Heaven and Hell, told from the losing side. Chapter One opens in the aftermath of the Resurrection, as the Boss tries to keep his hierarchy from completely unraveling while quietly processing the one outcome he couldn’t afford to be true. Think Paradise Lost meets bureaucratic horror. The devil wears a tailored suit, his hellhounds know when to stand down, and Death himself can’t explain how he lost the one soul he was supposed to keep.

This opening note introduces readers to The Watchman Codex with a quieter, more personal beginning. Instead of jumping into prophecies or heavy lore, it offers a small glimpse into the kinds of fragments the archivists sometimes allow to slip out of the sealed halls. It sets the tone for the world, its subtle mysteries, and the way the Codex hints at larger stories beneath the surface.

For most astute observers, the most striking development of 2026 is the so-called "AI Paradox." While generative AI was heralded as a tool for liberation, promising to automate most—if not all—mundane tasks, the reality is far more sobering. Recent data from Harvard Business Review and Gartner suggests AI has, in many cases, intensified work rather than reducing it.
